Generative AI versus Traditional Video Production

Traditional video production is both labour and equipment/tech heavy, and the success or otherwise can be affected by, the quality of the film crew, the actors turning up, and not looking like their profile picsarriving with a hangover, or forgetting their lines, The time involved in researching and preparing locations, delays or problems caused by weather.
Then just think about those ancillary costs, travel, accommodation, food and beverages, production of branded clothing, uniforms, vehicles.
Generative AI - £500 - £3000
Every aspect of the production is under our control.
ACTORS:
The age, gender, height, weight, ethnicity, eye colour, hair colour, clothing worn, accent/dialect.
LOCATIONS:
Any country you choose, countryside, beachside, waterside, snowscape, underwater, in the air.
Sunny, windy, rainy,
The building type, room styling, contemporary office, country cottage, retail store, usingfabric colours and finishing, branded signs, mugs, stationery.

What is involved in creating an AI Generated commercial
A 30' AI Generated TV Commercial will cost between £500 and £3000 to create depending on the support required. Quality = time = cost
1: The brief or creative idea
However good the AI video is, it will never replace a great idea. You may already have a refined idea, we can work with that and crack straight on. However, the best creative ideas comes from collaboration, feedback, and refinement.
2: The script
Likewise, you may have a script already written. But does it lend itself to the visuals that will go with it? Is it worth considering alternatives before you settle?
3: The storyboard
At this point, we could go straight to production and use our judgement, but the more detail we agree now, the fewer changes that will need to be made.
What style of film/commercial are we make?
Think about the AI Actors that will grace the screen. What doe they look like, what are they wearing. The same goes for locations, props, weather, lighting, day or night. Is there a colour pallet we should use to underpin your brand? The more we agree ahead of creating a polished story board, the better
4: Voice Overs (if required)
What sort of voice best suits your brand - male, female? What sort of age? Do they have an accent/dialect? Does the voice need to convey confidence...excitement...or a calm reflective type of delivery?
5: Visual Content Creation
Typically, for a 60 second commercial, we are looking to create between 8 and 12 pieces of content, ranging from 5 to 10 seconds each.
Creating the prompt that will turn an idea or still image from a storyboard, into a quality piece of film is where experience, time and patience is required.
Creating continuity is crucial, so that the actors, locations, voices are consistent throughout.
6: Editing and the finishing touches
Once we have created and approved the individual film clips, these can then be crafted together to create a complete story/film. Then some finishing touches like adding a sound bed/music, branding and logo treatments, on screen text and a final call to action, complete the process.

A simple 30' TV Style Commercial
from £500
Assumptions:
Client supplies a clear creative brief, script and supporting visuals/photos/logos/brand pack.
Vidaio supplies and AI voice over selected by them, and will convert the client supplied visuals into video, and supplement these with 25% AI generated content OR Library footage to complete the story.
Basic text, on screen branding and music added.
Digital Double - Cloning Package
from £750
Assumptions:
Client to be cloned, must attend a 1hr studio shoot, to capture master images and voice profile.
Cloned face and voice samples supplied for client approval.
Future creations using the digital double- prices on request.
Filming at client location subject to additional cost.
Advanced creative 60' Explainer
from £1500
Assumptions:
Client supplies an outline creative brief and supporting visuals/photos/logos/brand pack.
Vidaio provides everything else from the refined creative, the script, storyboard etc.
The finished video will be 80% AI generated content to complete the story.
Animated text, on screen branding and music added.
2 Minute Business Presentation
from £2500
Assumptions:
Client supplies a clear creative brief, script and supporting visuals/photos/logos/brand pack.
Vidaio will create the script and voice over, convert the supplied visuals into video, and supplement these with 80% AI generated content to complete the story.
Animated text, on screen branding and music added.
